Obtain GameSight API Key

Overview​

To integrate GameSight with the Data Connector service, you'll need to obtain a unique API key from GameSight. This API key serves as the authentication token that allows the Data Connector service to securely communicate with the GameSight platform. Follow the steps in this guide to acquire your GameSight API key.

Create a new API key​

Once you've logged in to your GameSight account, follow these steps to access and generate your API key:

  1. Go to the GameSight platform. Log in to your GameSight account.

  2. On the left-hand side of the GameSight dashboard, click Management.

  3. In the Management section, select API Keys under the Organization options.

  4. Choose the permission scope for your key. You can create a Reporting Key, Aggregate Reporting Key, or a GDPR Key.

Copy the API key​

After selecting a permission scope and creating a new API Key, you will receive a unique API key. Copy the key.

Important

This key is only displayed once. Ensure you copy the API key into a secure place before proceeding, as you will not be able to retrieve it again.

Save the API Key​

Name your key and choose which games and teams to assign it to. Click Update to save the key.
